14th India-Korea Coast Guard High Level Meeting Held at Incheon

The 14th High Level Meeting between the Indian Coast Guard and the Korea Coast Guard was held at Incheon, Republic of Korea, on 14 October 2026. The two sides discussed cooperation in maritime search and rescue, marine pollution response, maritime law enforcement and capacity building, and agreed on more professional exchanges, joint training, ship visits and real-time information sharing. The Indian delegation was led by Inspector General T. Sashi Kumar. For exams: The Indian Coast Guard works under the Ministry of Defence and was set up in 1977 (ICG Act, 1978).

भारतीय तटरक्षक बल और कोरिया तटरक्षक बल के बीच 14वीं उच्च स्तरीय बैठक 14 अक्टूबर 2026 को कोरिया गणराज्य के इंचियोन में हुई। दोनों पक्षों ने समुद्री खोज और बचाव, समुद्री प्रदूषण प्रतिक्रिया, समुद्री कानून प्रवर्तन और क्षमता निर्माण में सहयोग पर चर्चा की तथा पेशेवर आदान-प्रदान, संयुक्त प्रशिक्षण, जहाजों की यात्राएं और रीयल-टाइम सूचना साझा करना बढ़ाने पर सहमति जताई। भारतीय दल का नेतृत्व महानिरीक्षक टी. शशि कुमार ने किया। परीक्षा के लिए: भारतीय तटरक्षक बल रक्षा मंत्रालय के अधीन है और इसकी स्थापना 1977 में हुई (ICG अधिनियम, 1978)।
