ICAR AIEEA PG and AICE JRF SRF 2026 Result DeclaredDeclared

The National Testing Agency has declared the results of the ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) examinations for the academic year 2026-27. The examination was held on 04 July 2026 and the result was declared on 29 August 2026.

The scale of the examination gives some sense of what the scores mean. Of 42,110 candidates who registered, 30,619 were for AIEEA (PG) and 11,491 for AICE-JRF/SRF, and 38,720 actually appeared, across 162 centres in 115 cities. A total of 430 candidates with disabilities registered for the examination.

The two examinations lead to different places. AIEEA (PG) is the route to post graduate programmes in the agricultural universities within the ICAR system, while AICE-JRF/SRF is for doctoral admission and for the junior and senior research fellowships attached to it. In both cases the scorecard is only the beginning: admission depends on counselling, where seats are allotted against merit, category and the preferences you fill in. Download the scorecard from exams.nta.nic.in/icar, keep printed copies, and watch the ICAR counselling notices, because counselling schedules are published separately from the result and missing a round is the most common way candidates lose a seat they had earned.
