Railway Recruitment Boards have published the detailed CEN 07/2026 for 1,688 Non-Technical Popular Category (Under Graduate) posts: Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk cum Typist and Trains Clerk. 12th-pass candidates can apply online from 15 October to 13 November 2026.

Overview

The Railway Recruitment Boards have released the detailed Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 07/2026 for Non-Technical Popular Categories (Under Graduate). There are 1,688 vacancies across all RRBs: Commercial cum Ticket Clerk 700 (Level 3, Rs. 21,700), Junior Clerk cum Typist 600 (Level 2, Rs. 19,900), Accounts Clerk cum Typist 200 (Level 2) and Trains Clerk 188 (Level 2). RRB-wise and zone-wise vacancies are in Annexure B of the CEN.

Candidates can apply to only one RRB. The typing skill test for Junior Clerk and Accounts Clerk has been dispensed with for this CEN, though typing proficiency will be assessed after joining.

Applications are open on rrbapply.gov.in from 15 October to 13 November 2026 (11:59 PM), with fee payment until 15 November. Submitted applications can be modified from 16 to 25 November 2026 on payment of a Rs. 250 modification fee. CBT dates will be announced on the RRB websites.

1/3 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.
