SSC CGL 2026 टियर I एडमिट कार्ड और परीक्षा शहर विवरण
Overview
The Staff Selection Commission has opened exam city details for the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2026 (Tier I), which is being held from 30 September to 30 October 2026. Candidates can see their exam city by logging in on ssc.gov.in. The Admission Certificate is released tentatively two to three days before each candidate's own exam date, through the same login.
Candidates using their own scribe need to note a change. Scribe registrations made before 05 November 2025 have been disposed of, and scribe registration is now linked to Aadhaar authentication, so every scribe has to register afresh. The candidate then maps the scribe's registration number, and the Scribe Entry Pass is generated only for candidates who complete that mapping. The deadline for mapping was 11:00 PM on 24 September 2026.
SSC has also published the tentative vacancies for CGL 2026 as on 24 September 2026: 10,731 posts in total, of which 4,412 are unreserved, 2,772 OBC, 1,715 SC, 1,028 EWS and 804 ST. They include 595 posts of Inspector of Income Tax, 668 Assistant Section Officers in the Central Secretariat Service, and 504 each of Assistant Accounts Officer and Assistant Audit Officer (State Cadre) in the C&AG. SSC does not collect state-wise or zone-wise vacancies, so those have to be checked with the user departments.
