SSC GD Constable 2026 Result: 1.97 Lakh Shortlisted for PET/PSTResult Out

The Staff Selection Commission held the Constable (GD) in CAPFs and SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026 in computer-based mode from 27 April to 30 May 2026. A total of 21,56,776 candidates appeared. On 12 October 2026 SSC published the list of candidates provisionally shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST).

The minimum qualifying marks were 30% for UR, 25% for OBC/EWS and 20% for SC, ST and ESM. 15,782 female candidates were shortlisted against State/UT-wise vacancies of the forces, 1,81,251 male candidates against State/UT-wise vacancies of forces other than SSF, and 375 male candidates against All-India SSF vacancies. Normalised scores plus NCC bonus marks were used for the cut-offs, and state- and area-wise cut-offs are in the annexures of the notice.

The PET/PST will be conducted by the CAPFs, with CRPF as the nodal force issuing call letters, so shortlisted candidates should watch rect.crpf.gov.in. Final answer keys and marks will be put on ssc.gov.in in due course.
