UGC NET June 2026 Subject and Category Wise Cut Off MarksCut Off
UGC NET जून 2026 विषय एवं श्रेणी अनुसार कट ऑफ अंक
Overview
Along with the UGC-NET June 2026 result on 28 August 2026, the National Testing Agency published the cut-off marks, broken down by subject and by category across all 84 subjects, with separate figures for Unreserved, OBC (NCL), EWS, SC and ST candidates. The full list runs to 46 pages in the official notice.
A NET cut-off is not fixed in advance. It is worked out after the examination from the marks actually scored, the number of candidates who appeared in that subject and the quota of qualifying candidates laid down for each category, which is why it moves from session to session and differs sharply between subjects. A score that qualifies in one subject may fall short in another in the same session, and comparing your marks against last session's cut-off tells you very little.
The notice gives cut-offs for each qualifying outcome separately: Junior Research Fellowship, Assistant Professor eligibility, and Ph.D admission. Read the row for your own subject and your own category, and check it against the qualifying status printed on your scorecard rather than inferring your result from the marks alone.
