UP Home Guard Enrollment 2025 Final Result Declared (41,424 Posts)Medical from 12 Oct

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has declared the final selection result of the Uttar Pradesh Home Guards Enrollment 2025 in a notice dated 3 October 2026. The enrollment was advertised on 18 November 2025 for 41,424 posts across the state's districts, and drew 25,32,196 online applications.

The written examination was held in 6 shifts on 25, 26 and 27 April 2026 in 74 districts. After normalising scores and adding marks for preferential qualifications, about 2.6 times the vacancies (1,07,221 candidates) were called for document scrutiny and the physical standard test from 13 July to 7 August 2026. Successful candidates then took the qualifying physical efficiency test from 15 to 26 September 2026.

The final list is based on normalised written test scores plus preferential qualification marks, applying the state's reservation rules district-wise against the advertised vacancies. The district-wise list of selected candidates is published on the Board's website, uppbpb.gov.in.

Update (8 October 2026): Medical examination and character verification of selected candidates begin on 12 October 2026. Candidates must report at 9:00 AM at the police lines of their district on the date given by the District Commandant, Home Guards, with the original call letter, original certificates with photocopies, at least 10 recent passport-size photographs, the character verification form and a Rs. 10 non-judicial stamp paper. A candidate declared unfit may file an appeal the same day in the prescribed form.
