APPSC Group-I Recruitment 2026 for 166 Posts (Notification 07/2026)Last Date 27 Oct

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has issued Notification No. 07/2026 dated 6 October 2026 for recruitment to 166 posts under Group-I Services. Online applications are open at psc.ap.gov.in from 6 October to 27 October 2026, up to 11:59 PM. Corrections can be made for a limited period after the last date at Rs. 100 per correction.

The posts are Deputy Collector (12), Assistant Commissioner of State Tax (14), Deputy Superintendent of Police (Civil) (36), DSP (Communications) (3), District Educational Officer (14), Regional Transport Officer (3), District Tribal Welfare Officer (1), Deputy Registrar in Cooperative Service (16), Municipal Commissioner Grade-II (12), Assistant Treasury Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer (2), District Employment Officer (3), Assistant Audit Officer (15) and Divisional Development Officer (35). Pay ranges from Rs. 54,060-1,40,540 to Rs. 65,360-1,54,980 depending on the post; Deputy Collector, ACST and DSP are in the Rs. 61,960-1,51,370 scale.

The Screening Test (objective, offline OMR) will be held on 24 January 2027, followed by a descriptive Main Examination on dates to be announced. Age limits vary by post, from a minimum of 18 or 21 to a maximum of 30 or 44 years as on 1 July 2026.
