The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has issued Notification No. 11/2026 (Advertisement No. 747) dated 6 October 2026 for the Combined Civil Services Examination-IV (Group IV Services). A total of 6,574 vacancies are notified across posts such as Village Administrative Officer, Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Typist, Steno Typist, Junior Assistant cum Typist and Forest Guard, in state departments, boards, municipal bodies and corporations.

Online applications are open at tnpscexams.in from 6 October to 11:59 PM on 5 November 2026, with a correction window from 9 to 11 November 2026. Candidates must first complete One Time Registration (Rs. 150, valid for five years) and then pay the examination fee of Rs. 100, subject to exemptions for eligible categories. Applicants can choose whether to be considered for Forest Guard with Driving Licence and Forest Watcher posts.

The written exam (OMR, objective) will be held on 10 January 2027 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. It has 200 questions for 300 marks: Part A Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test (100 questions), Part B General Studies (75) and Part C Aptitude and Mental Ability (25). Part B and C are evaluated only for candidates who score at least 40% (60 marks) in Part A.
