UPSSSC Junior Engineer (Agriculture) Mains Recruitment 2026 for 134 Posts

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission's Advertisement No. 19-Exam/2026 (Junior Engineer (Agriculture) Mains Exam, PET-2025/19), published on 14 August 2026, is for 134 Junior Engineer posts in the Agriculture Directorate: UR 54, OBC 43, SC 23, EWS 13 and ST 1. The posts carry Level 6 pay (Rs. 9,300-34,800, grade pay Rs. 4,200).

Online applications opened on 17 September and close on 7 October 2026. Fee reconciliation and corrections to permitted fields are allowed until 14 October 2026. Only candidates who appeared in PET-2025 and have a score card can apply. Shortlisting for the mains is based on normalised PET-2025 scores, at 15 times the vacancies in each category.

Candidates need High School and a 3-year diploma in Agricultural Engineering from the Board of Technical Education, UP, or an AICTE-approved equivalent. The mains exam has 100 one-mark questions in 2 hours: agricultural engineering subjects (65), computer and IT (15) and general knowledge of Uttar Pradesh (20), with 1/4 negative marking.
