WBPSC Clerkship Examination 2024 Online Form (Advt. 12/2024)Last Date 26 Oct

The Public Service Commission, West Bengal has published Advertisement No. 12/2024, dated 6 October 2026, for the Clerkship Examination 2024. Recruitment will be made to Lower Division Assistant, Lower Division Clerk and similar posts in the Secretariat, Directorates, district offices and regional offices of the Government of West Bengal. The number of vacancies will be announced later.

Applications are online only, from 6 October to 3:30 PM on 26 October 2026, with an edit window from 28 October to 1 November 2026. Candidates need to have passed Madhyamik or equivalent and must have elementary computer knowledge with typing speed of 20 wpm in English or 10 wpm in Bengali. They must also be able to read, write and speak Bengali (not required for those whose mother tongue is Nepali). The age limit is 18 to 45 years as on 1 January 2024.

The posts carry Pay Level 6 (Rs. 22,700-58,500) plus allowances under ROPA 2019. Part-I of the exam is tentatively scheduled for December 2026, followed by Part-II for qualified candidates and a computer and typing test.
