Jammu & Kashmir's First Mineral Blocks Auctioned

In a first for the Union Territory, two mineral blocks in Jammu and Kashmir have been auctioned successfully through the Ministry of Mines under the Central Government's mineral auction process, after the UT government entrusted the auction to the Ministry. One is the Koot–Kapran limestone block in Dooru tehsil of Anantnag district, covering 22.43 hectares with estimated limestone resources of 4.75 million tonnes, explored up to the G-4 stage. The auction opens a new phase of organised mineral development in J&K. For exams: these are the first mineral blocks auctioned in J&K under the MMDR Act regime.

केंद्र शासित प्रदेश में पहली बार, जम्मू-कश्मीर के दो खनिज ब्लॉकों की केंद्र सरकार की खनिज नीलामी प्रक्रिया के तहत खान मंत्रालय के माध्यम से सफल नीलामी हुई है। केंद्र शासित प्रदेश सरकार ने यह नीलामी मंत्रालय को सौंपी थी। इनमें से एक अनंतनाग ज़िले की डूरू तहसील में कूट–कपरान चूना पत्थर ब्लॉक है, जो 22.43 हेक्टेयर में फैला है और जिसमें अनुमानित 4.75 मिलियन टन चूना पत्थर संसाधन है। इसकी खोज G-4 स्तर तक हुई है। यह नीलामी जम्मू-कश्मीर में संगठित खनिज विकास के नए चरण की शुरुआत है। परीक्षा के लिए: ये MMDR अधिनियम व्यवस्था के तहत जम्मू-कश्मीर में नीलाम हुए पहले खनिज ब्लॉक हैं।
