5th Kautilya Economic Conclave Held in New Delhi on 'Resilience in an Age of Flux'

Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan delivered the inaugural address at the 5th Kautilya Economic Conclave in New Delhi, held from 3 to 5 October 2026 on the theme 'Resilience in an Age of Flux'. He called for resilient, inclusive and responsive economic policies amid rapid global change, and said economic resilience cannot be separated from social resilience. Referring to the Institute of Economic Growth (IEG), set up in 1952 under Professor V. K. R. V. Rao, he stressed that policy must be grounded in ground realities. For exams: the Kautilya Economic Conclave is organised by the Institute of Economic Growth with the Ministry of Finance.

उपराष्ट्रपति सी. पी. राधाकृष्णन ने नई दिल्ली में 3 से 5 अक्टूबर 2026 तक 'Resilience in an Age of Flux' थीम पर आयोजित 5वें कौटिल्य आर्थिक सम्मेलन में उद्घाटन भाषण दिया। उन्होंने तेज़ वैश्विक बदलावों के बीच लचीली, समावेशी और संवेदनशील आर्थिक नीतियों का आह्वान किया और कहा कि आर्थिक लचीलापन सामाजिक लचीलेपन से अलग नहीं किया जा सकता। प्रोफेसर वी. के. आर. वी. राव के नेतृत्व में 1952 में स्थापित आर्थिक विकास संस्थान (IEG) का उल्लेख करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि नीतियां ज़मीनी हकीकत पर आधारित होनी चाहिए। परीक्षा के लिए: कौटिल्य आर्थिक सम्मेलन आर्थिक विकास संस्थान वित्त मंत्रालय के साथ मिलकर आयोजित करता है।
