Sanchar Saathi Portal Crosses 30 Crore Visits

The Department of Telecommunications' Sanchar Saathi portal (sancharsaathi.gov.in) has crossed 30 crore visits since its launch in May 2023. It lets mobile users report suspected fraud calls, SMS and WhatsApp messages through the Chakshu facility, check how many mobile connections are running in their name and report ones they did not take, block lost or stolen handsets, and verify whether a handset is genuine before buying it. Reports from citizens are turned into intelligence that helps DoT, banks and law enforcement stop fraudsters. For exams: Sanchar Saathi was launched by DoT in May 2023, and Chakshu is its facility for reporting suspected fraud communications.

दूरसंचार विभाग का संचार साथी पोर्टल (sancharsaathi.gov.in) मई 2023 में शुरू होने के बाद से 30 करोड़ विज़िट पार कर चुका है। इसके ज़रिए मोबाइल उपयोगकर्ता 'चक्षु' सुविधा से संदिग्ध धोखाधड़ी वाली कॉल, SMS और व्हाट्सऐप संदेशों की शिकायत कर सकते हैं, अपने नाम पर चल रहे मोबाइल कनेक्शन देख सकते हैं और जो उन्होंने नहीं लिए उनकी रिपोर्ट कर सकते हैं, खोए या चोरी हुए हैंडसेट ब्लॉक कर सकते हैं और खरीदने से पहले हैंडसेट के असली होने की जांच कर सकते हैं। नागरिकों की शिकायतें खुफिया जानकारी में बदलकर DoT, बैंकों और कानून प्रवर्तन एजेंसियों को धोखेबाज़ों को रोकने में मदद करती हैं। परीक्षा के लिए: संचार साथी मई 2023 में DoT ने शुरू किया था और 'चक्षु' संदिग्ध धोखाधड़ी संचार की रिपोर्ट करने की इसकी सुविधा है।
