Fourth India-UK Financial Markets Dialogue Held in London

The fourth UK-India Financial Markets Dialogue (FMD) was held in London on 29 September 2026, and a joint statement was adopted. Led by the Ministry of Finance and HM Treasury, it included regulators SEBI, RBI, IFSCA, PFRDA and IRDAI from India, and the Bank of England and the Financial Conduct Authority from the UK. The previous meeting was held in December 2024. Discussions covered capital markets, insurance and pensions, asset management and fintech. Both sides agreed to continue regulatory cooperation to develop GIFT IFSC as an international financial centre, including cross-border equity and bond listings, and welcomed the role of the India-UK Financial Partnership (IUKFP). For exams: GIFT IFSC is regulated by IFSCA; the FMD's 2026 edition was its fourth.

चौथा ब्रिटेन-भारत वित्तीय बाज़ार संवाद (FMD) 29 सितंबर 2026 को लंदन में हुआ और एक संयुक्त वक्तव्य अपनाया गया। वित्त मंत्रालय और HM ट्रेज़री के नेतृत्व में हुए इस संवाद में भारत से SEBI, RBI, IFSCA, PFRDA और IRDAI तथा ब्रिटेन से बैंक ऑफ इंग्लैंड और फाइनेंशियल कंडक्ट अथॉरिटी शामिल हुए। पिछली बैठक दिसंबर 2024 में हुई थी। चर्चा पूंजी बाज़ार, बीमा और पेंशन, परिसंपत्ति प्रबंधन और फिनटेक पर केंद्रित रही। दोनों पक्षों ने GIFT IFSC को अंतरराष्ट्रीय वित्तीय केंद्र के रूप में विकसित करने, जिसमें सीमा-पार इक्विटी और बॉन्ड लिस्टिंग शामिल है, के लिए नियामकीय सहयोग जारी रखने पर सहमति जताई और भारत-ब्रिटेन वित्तीय साझेदारी (IUKFP) की भूमिका का स्वागत किया। परीक्षा के लिए: GIFT IFSC का नियामक IFSCA है; 2026 का FMD इसका चौथा संस्करण था।
