NCLT Approves Record 107 Resolution Plans in Q2 of FY 2026-27

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) approved 107 Resolution Plans in the second quarter (July-September) of FY 2026-27, the highest in any quarter since the Tribunal was set up. It had approved 60 plans in the same quarter of FY 2025-26 and 57 in FY 2024-25. The 107 plans have an aggregate approved value of more than Rs. 11,000 crore. With 78 plans in the first quarter, the NCLT approved 185 plans in the first half of the year, taking the cumulative total to 1,735 as on 30 September 2026. Pending applications for approval fell to 335 (294 pending and 41 reserved for orders), compared with 363 noted by the Supreme Court in April 2026. The NCLT has 16 Benches and credits better pendency monitoring and case-flow management for the improvement. For exams: Resolution Plans are approved by the NCLT under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code; 107 plans in Q2 FY27 is a record.

राष्ट्रीय कंपनी कानून न्यायाधिकरण (NCLT) ने वित्त वर्ष 2026-27 की दूसरी तिमाही (जुलाई-सितंबर) में 107 समाधान योजनाएं (रेज़ोल्यूशन प्लान) मंज़ूर कीं, जो न्यायाधिकरण की स्थापना के बाद किसी भी तिमाही में सबसे अधिक है। वित्त वर्ष 2025-26 की इसी तिमाही में 60 और 2024-25 में 57 योजनाएं मंज़ूर हुई थीं। इन 107 योजनाओं का कुल स्वीकृत मूल्य 11,000 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक है। पहली तिमाही की 78 योजनाओं के साथ NCLT ने पहली छमाही में 185 योजनाएं मंज़ूर कीं, जिससे 30 सितंबर 2026 तक कुल संख्या 1,735 हो गई। मंज़ूरी के लिए लंबित आवेदन घटकर 335 (294 लंबित और 41 पर आदेश सुरक्षित) रह गए, जबकि अप्रैल 2026 में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने 363 लंबित आवेदनों का उल्लेख किया था। NCLT की 16 बेंच हैं और इसने बेहतर लंबित मामलों की निगरानी और केस-फ्लो प्रबंधन को इस सुधार का श्रेय दिया है। परीक्षा के लिए: समाधान योजनाओं को दिवाला और शोधन अक्षमता संहिता (IBC) के तहत NCLT मंज़ूरी देता है; दूसरी तिमाही में 107 योजनाएं एक रिकॉर्ड है।
