Madhya Pradesh (Rs 23.8 lakh), West Bengal (Rs 23.3 lakh) and Odisha (Rs 19.8 lakh) received the largest shares, and the top 10 States together got Rs 1.43 crore. With this release, cumulative ABS disbursement by the NBA has reached Rs 202 crore. The funds support Biodiversity Management Committees, People's Biodiversity Registers and conservation of traditional crop varieties. For exams: the NBA is a statutory body set up under the Biological Diversity Act, 2002.
