Foundation Stone Laid for ICMR Centre for High Altitude Medicine at Keylong

Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda laid the foundation stone of the ICMR Centre for High Altitude Medicine and Public Health Research at Keylong, Himachal Pradesh, on 12 October 2026. ICMR, the Armed Forces Medical Services and AIIMS Bilaspur will collaborate on high-altitude health research focused on soldiers and border communities, including drone-enabled medicine delivery, digital health and AI. For exams: Keylong is the headquarters of Lahaul and Spiti district.

केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री जे.पी. नड्डा ने 12 अक्टूबर 2026 को हिमाचल प्रदेश के केलांग में ICMR उच्च तुंगता चिकित्सा एवं सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य अनुसंधान केंद्र की आधारशिला रखी। ICMR, सशस्त्र सेना चिकित्सा सेवा और AIIMS बिलासपुर मिलकर सैनिकों और सीमावर्ती समुदायों पर केंद्रित उच्च तुंगता स्वास्थ्य अनुसंधान करेंगे, जिसमें ड्रोन से दवा पहुंचाना, डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य और AI शामिल हैं। परीक्षा के लिए: केलांग लाहौल और स्पीति जिले का मुख्यालय है।
