Narendra Bhooshan Takes Charge as Secretary, Ministry of Environment

Narendra Bhooshan, a 1992-batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, has taken charge as Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC). He was previously Secretary of the Department of Land Resources in the Ministry of Rural Development. In Uttar Pradesh he served as Additional Chief Secretary (Energy), CEO of the Greater Noida Authority and District Magistrate of Mathura, Firozabad and Udham Singh Nagar. उत्तर प्रदेश कैडर के 1992 बैच के IAS अधिकारी नरेंद्र भूषण ने पर्यावरण, वन और जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय (MoEFCC) के सचिव का पदभार संभाला है। इससे पहले वे ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय के भूमि संसाधन विभाग के सचिव थे। उत्तर प्रदेश में वे अपर मुख्य सचिव (ऊर्जा), ग्रेटर नोएडा प्राधिकरण के CEO तथा मथुरा, फिरोज़ाबाद और उधम सिंह नगर के ज़िलाधिकारी रह चुके हैं। केंद्र में वे UIDAI के उप महानिदेशक और राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा मिशन के मिशन निदेशक रहे हैं। परीक्षा के लिए: नरेंद्र भूषण, सचिव MoEFCC, 1992 बैच IAS (उत्तर प्रदेश कैडर)।
