India–UAE Joint Military Exercise MOUNTAIN GUARDIAN 2026 Begins in Uttarakhand

The India–UAE Joint Military Exercise MOUNTAIN GUARDIAN 2026 began on 5 October at the Foreign Training Node, Chaubatia, Uttarakhand, and runs until 18 October 2026. It focuses on mountain warfare and involves 92 personnel, with equal numbers from both armies: troops from a Bhairav Battalion of the Indian Army and a Mountain Infantry Battalion of the UAE Army. Women officers and soldiers from both sides are taking part in specialist roles. Training includes joint planning, tactical drills, firing, surveillance grids, drone operations, rock climbing and integrated field exercises. भारत–संयुक्त अरब अमीरात संयुक्त सैन्य अभ्यास माउंटेन गार्डियन 2026, 5 अक्टूबर को उत्तराखंड के चौबटिया स्थित फॉरेन ट्रेनिंग नोड में शुरू हुआ और 18 अक्टूबर 2026 तक चलेगा। इसका फोकस पर्वतीय युद्ध पर है और इसमें दोनों सेनाओं के बराबर-बराबर कुल 92 कर्मी भाग ले रहे हैं: भारतीय सेना की एक भैरव बटालियन और UAE सेना की एक माउंटेन इन्फैंट्री बटालियन के सैनिक। दोनों ओर की महिला अधिकारी और सैनिक भी विशेषज्ञ भूमिकाओं में शामिल हैं। प्रशिक्षण में संयुक्त योजना, सामरिक अभ्यास, फायरिंग, निगरानी ग्रिड, ड्रोन संचालन, रॉक क्लाइंबिंग और एकीकृत फील्ड अभ्यास शामिल हैं। परीक्षा के लिए: माउंटेन गार्डियन भारत–UAE सेना अभ्यास है; 2026 का संस्करण उत्तराखंड के चौबटिया में हो रहा है।
